One of my favorite weddings of 2017, Christina and Kyle had the most beautiful and sunny fall day. There was such a vibrant energy throughout the day and the color palette was just to die for, with rich burgundy and blush tones.
The reception was like one huge dance party, with some pretty strong Badger and Longhorn pride, some polka dancing, and glow sticks. Seriously, these guys did it right. Congrats again to K&C! It was awesome being a part of your day.

Anne and Brandon were married in the late fall, on a chilly (windy!) day. If you haven't been to The Ivory Room, it has spectacular views of the city, located in the Miranova 2 building. Although we weren't really able take portraits outdoors due to the rain and wind, the lobby of the building provided a lot of natural light and open space for group photos. And after the ceremony right before the reception started, we snuck outside with the couple, under an umbrella and photographed the city in the background.
Of course the weather didn't matter at all once they said their vows and celebrated on the dance floor. Congratulations Anne & Brandon! Thanks for making us a part of your day.

Marcie & Carl were married on a BEAUTIFUL sunny day in April at the Wells Barn at Franklin Park Conservatory. This was our first wedding at the barn, and it fully exceeded my expectations. Not only do you have the beautiful reclaimed wood, but you also have access to the most beautiful gardens in Columbus. And I just loved these two the moment I met them. Marcie and I hit it off right away over coffee, and Mike and I loved getting to know them over the past year. We're so excited to share some more from their wedding. Scroll allllll the way to the bottom to see it all! Enjoy!

I'm so excited to finally share more photos from one of our favorite 2016 weddings! Karlie & David were married on a beautiful sunny September day in the heart of Franklinton. Mike and I fell IN LOVE with Strongwater the moment we walked in. As a venue, it's definitely one of the most interesting and versatile spaces Columbus has to offer. And Karlie & David had so many beautiful details - more specifically, an amazing custom floral arrangement for the ceremony space (by Evergreen Flower Co, see below). And as always, thanks to the other vendors who helped to pull off a flawless day for the happy couple (see credits below). Enjoy!
And thanks again to the entire team!

We've been at Dock580 a lot this year! Which is totally fine by me (we obviously love it there since that's where we got married). Sarah and Danny are just wonderful people. We first met face to face (they live in NC) for their engagement session on a brisk late November evening. Despite the chilly weather, we had a great time getting to know them, and explored 3 different areas of the city. Fast forward to April 23rd, where we celebrated their wedding with them. The wedding was just as fun. So many beautiful details, and some of the most gorgeous florals from one of our favorites Rose Bredl (especially the arrangement over the altar... swoon). The Loft is such an interesting venue, with it's upstairs/downstairs arrangement. For this wedding, the couple did something totally unique - the first dance was right in the middle of cocktail hour. It worked out well! Make sure to scroll through to see the entire day. And check out those dance photos. DJ Tommy Nutter created some dance floor insanity.
Thanks for checking it out, and enjoy!
As always, we love working with other wonderful professionals. Check out this crew!

I can't believe how behind I am on the blog. I wish I had the time and ability to blog every single session, but I can't promise that will ever happen. In the meantime, I want to share one of my favorite weddings from 2014 - a gorgeous, rustic wedding at Crockett's Run in Hocking Hills. It was absolutely beautiful, and every detail was accounted for. My personal favorite: Catie's dried lavender bouquets (which smelled amazing). Catie + Phil are super down to earth and they were so fun to work with. And seriously, you're gonna love this one. I certainly did. ENJOY!
