S Family

When Kate first contacted me about photographing her family, I was so excited that she truly understood lifestyle photography. It's a hard concept for some people - invite me into your home but then try to pretend I'm not there. Typically for an in-home session I'll do a combination of posed, semi-posed, and purely lifestyle, which is exactly what we did here. This is the home Kate and he sister grew up in, and she wanted to make sure they captured as much as possible in case the family ever moves away. My favorite part: baking their traditional family cookie recipe.
